Making vacation plans? Most of Florida’s beaches have escaped the BP oil spill so far.
Much of Florida’s Gulf Coast remains open to vacationers despite the ongoing oil spill ooze. Pensacola is the only stretch of Florida coastline currently closed due to the oil. Numerous beaches in Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama also are closed.
